While the armor provides excellent crush resistance, proper bend radius management remains critical for optical performance. In ultra-high-density panels, ensure the bend radius immediately exiting the connector boot is no less than 30mm. Use horizontal or vertical cable managers with appropriate radius guides. For the cleanest installation and to prevent microbend loss, consider routing the armored section first before dressing the more flexible booted section into the final position. This two-stage dressing technique preserves the fiber's geometry and minimizes stress points.
